Hei alle! I know I promised an update soon, but things have been a little busy...hopefully soon I will get the time to post some more photos. Just wanted to say thank you for the prayers, Kelly and I (Cortney) successfully completed our Norwegian exams and will find out in a few weeks how we did. Brett has his this week, so if you can be praying for him that would be great!
2 more prayer requests:
1. Brett and I are looking for a new apartment and are praying to find something close enough to downtown, and big enough to have people over, and more affordable, but we leave for the states June 6. We would really like to find a place to live before we leave as our lease here is done July 1st. We need your prayers and God's provision!
2.Also, this week, Kelly, Brett and I will be doing some nailing down of planing for the beginning of fall semester so would you pray for us for God's guidance and direction as we pray and look ahead? We want to have some venues for our musician/campus missionary friends from the U.S. (who will be visiting for about 10 days) to come and play at as new students arrive to the university. Please pray for favor and open doors!
Thanks so much and we'll be back with more soon!

Hello all! Well, we seemed to have some technical difficulties on that last entry, but here are some of the pictures that didn't post! Stay tuned becasue we have many updates coming up soon! It's been a crazy, busy month! In the last few weeks we have had visits to Aberdeen, Scotland to visit a campus missionary team there as well as the Assemblies of God Europe Missionaries Retreat in Salou, Spain (with a side visit to Barcelona)...many encouraging and challenging stories...and can't forget the 17th of May we just had- Norway's Independence Day! It was a crazy time of celebration- we'll post some pictures soon!
A prayer Request until then: Cortney and Kelly both have their Norwegian oral and written final exams this week and Brett next week so we all need lots of prayer!!! :) Be blessed, and we'll be back with more soon!

Duluth-Norway Connections!
We had the awesome privledge of having two of our friends from Duluth, Mn Chi Alpha Students for Christ come and visit us here in Norway. Both Maleah and Amanda were freshmen when Cortney did her internship in Duluth and their friendship is a result of the last two years of mentoring and growing together. Maleah has just been studying abroad in Spain for the year and Amanda just finished a semester in Italy. It is amazing how God has connected us again across the ocean and is calling students from UMD to study in Europe and be examples for Christ. It was great to have them here to encourage and be encouraged. They have learned so much in their experiences abroad and are now excited and on fire to go back and share what they have learned with their peers in Chi Alpha at UMD as they continue their studies. God has given them a greater heart for the world and a greater burden for students who do not know Him. They need your prayers as they readjust to being back in the states and for boldness to reach out to others with the love of Christ on the UMD campus. It is so awesome to see the many gifts God has placed in them and their desire to be used fully for Him. We are so proud of them! We are praying about having a team from UMD Chi Alpha visit us next year....

We all took a hike together one day and had a blast! After some dangerous climbing antics,we had a chance to just relax and enjoy the lovely weather.

Time for some catch-up! More coming, but here are just a few images from the beginning of April....
Brett's sister Brooke came to visit us over Easter and we traveled outside of Trondheim

Here is the gang in a town called Torvibukt where we stayed in an old church that our Norwegian friend's parents own as a summer home, what a blessing to be able to stay there!
